How to Navigate This Website

This portfolio was originally developed for the EdX MicroMasters in Instructional Design and Technology created by the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). The MicroMasters program consisted of four classes:

• LDT100x – Instructional Design and Technology: Learning Theories

• LDT200x – Instructional Design Modules

• LDT300x – Instructional Design: Digital Media, New Tools and Technology

• LDT400x – Instructional Design Course Evaluation & Capstone Project

Following the completion of the MicroMasters program, I enrolled in UMGC to complete a Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology, for which the EdX MicroMasters was a feeder program. So far, the courses at UMGC have included:

• LDTC 620 – Next Generation Design: Emerging Technology, Gamification, and AI in Learning Design

• LDTC 625 – Analytics and Evaluation in Learning Design

• LDTC 630 – Collaboration and Design Thinking in Learning Design

• LDTC 640 – Project Management for Learning Design

• LDTC 650 – Instructional Strategy and Practice in Online Learning Environments

(I have one class to finish after LDTC 650 to complete the entire program!)

Thus, the navigation at the top provides access to the portfolio assignments for each class in the EdX MicroMasters program (LDT100x, LDT200x, LDT300x, LDT400x). A separate UMGC navigation dropdown contains portfolio highlights to UMGC’s courses (LDTC 620, LDTC 625, LDTC 630, LDTC 640, LDTC 650).
